Vance Serchuk is the senior advisor for national security and foreign affairs to Senator Joseph Lieberman and a professional staffer on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.Before his tenure with Senator Lieberman in 2007, Mr. Serchuk worked at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) first as a research associate in defense and security policy and then as a research fellow. His writings have appeared in the New York Times, The Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Weekly Standard, and other publications. Mr. Serchuk is an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his JD from Yale Law School, and was a Fulbright scholar in the Russian Federation. During the 2008 election cycle, she worked at the National Republican Congressional Committee.
