Canon Rebel
Officially announced June 8, 2012, and available for purchase June 19, the Canon EOS Rebel T4i DSLR camera is certainly the new flagship of the Rebel line, with its many upgrades. Canon has given the beginner photographer ready to jump into the world of DSLR photography an excellent tool from which to learn the craft and art of picture taking. Photographers who chose any of the older EOS Rebel models as an entry-level camera can advance their skills and results with the T4i, and with an affordable investment. Most noticeable of the EOS Rebel T4i’s upgrades is the new Hybrid CMOS autofocus system, a first for an EOS camera. It includes a 9-point all cross-type AF array, with a high-precision, dual-cross f/2.8 point at center. With this much faster AF system, the T4i will spend less time focus hunting and operate continuously for stills or video in Live View. Two-dimensional contrast detection in the AF’s cross-type points results in focusing that is more precise for virtually any composition or subject location within the frame. There were 16 real customer reviews of the Canon EOS Rebel T4i all giving it 4-5 star rating. If you would like to read these reviews you can do so here.
