Circle Lenses
Instead of wearing glasses, many preteens and teens prefer contact lenses. And that is usually fine as long as you have a responsible child who is going to take care of her contact lenses. Studies have shown that older school age children and preteens can usually take care of and wear contact lenses without any problems, although many experts recommend starting with daily disposable lenses. A new contact lens fad, which was prompted by a Lady Gaga video, may cause some problems though. This new fad has teens wanting to wear circle lenses, which makes the colored part of their eyes appear much larger than usual. Available in strange combinations of colors, which was prompted by a Lady Gaga video, like magic twist brown and smoky pink, these circle lenses are available on the internet without a prescription, even though they are illegal in the United States.
