Jay Rosenthal is Dealer Manager at Rallye Acura in Roslyn, New York. He grew up in Queens, NY with fond memories and started his first job as a local paper boy servicing his community. After attending Queens College and earning a liberal arts degree, Jay delved into a sales position selling technology. His career path changed permanently when a close friend suggested he enter the car business for the opportunity to upgrade his car and increase his salary – this was enough motivation for Jay to accept the offer and secure a job at a small family run dealership. He quickly rose to the top. He was a diligent worker and continuously noticed as the top salesman. Jay wanted more. He set his eyes on a Finance and Insurance (F&I), position. “I found a dealership to train me and became an F&I manager. I knew what I wanted and I like a challenge,” he says. As dealership sales increased under his management, Jay was promoted to general manager. Twelve years of hard work paid off when Jay was offered his dream job – Dealer Manager for Rallye Group. “I had dreamed of working for them. Whenever I heard Rallye it had a magic ring to it. They are one of the most respected dealer groups; they are the Nordstrom of the car business.
